The Treasure Hunt was a great success. KBSC’s sailors vanquished Madam Ching and found our Commodore and Committee Boat safely tucked away behind Shag Rock. There were 7 boats and 18 people, including Yakkity Yak’s sail-by to say Hi! Habit 1, with Paul, Laurie, TJ and Theresa, lead the charge. The rest of the intrepid fleet followed: Lil’Bit (Chet, Suzy, Julie), Zin Syr Too (David and Brad), Sante (Jim and Arlene), Attitude Adjustment (Alan and Ottoline), Tranquillity Base (Bob and Anita), Committee Boat (Paul and Val). We’d like to thanks our members for gamely playing along and following the sometimes not so obvious clues. After everyone rafted up we spent a relaxing afternoon swimming, noshing and watched the incredible activity, by all kinds of watercraft, going on around Shag Rock. Even Brad’s Bald Eagle showed up to take in the scene.
